Position Description: Volunteers serving as Threads of Hope Team - Linens Donations Helper will help to sort the linen donations, fold sheets and blankets, and help to display, or store them. They will help to keep things tidy on the sales floor, and in the staff areas as well,  and assist with other tasks as needed.

Impact of Opportunity: Threads of Hope Team Members play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Threads of Hope Thrift Store in Sanford. The store is a program of Catholic Charities Maine with the mission of providing its customers with affordable clothing and other goods while also raising money to support other agency programs which help the people of Maine.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Training Offered: Catholic Charities Maine Volunteer Orientation & specific training on how to help do the linen's processing

Time Commitment/Schedule: We are looking for volunteers that can help 1, 2, 3, or 4 hours a week consistently - hours are flexible and so are the days you pick to come in. Would be nice to have a regular schedule so that staff can expect you, but not necessary - as long as 1 visit a week.
