Type(s) of Volunteer(s) Needed: Individuals

Position Description: Volunteers serving as Threads of Hope Team Members will accept and process the thrift store's incoming donations. They will price and display merchandise on the sales floor and assist with other tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Impact of Opportunity: Threads of Hope Team Members play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Threads of Hope Thrift Store in Sanford. The store is a program of Catholic Charities Maine with the mission of providing its customers with affordable clothing and other goods while also raising money to support other agency programs which help the people of Maine.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Training Offered: Catholic Charities Maine Volunteer Orientation & specific training on how to process, price, and put away donations

Time Commitment/Schedule: We are looking for volunteers who can commit to serving 4 hours at a time, 2-3 days per week for a 6 month commitment or longer.
