Providing help and creating hope in Maine
AROOSTOOK COUNTY, ME -- Catholic Charities Maine recently presented Aroostook Savings & Loan and WAGM with Community Partner Awards in recognition of their outstanding commitment to community service, donation of time, talent and resources in collaboration with Catholic Charities with a goal of improving the quality of life for the citizens of our community.
Both Aroostook Savings & Loan and WAGM have partnered with Catholic Charities to create the Feed the County campaign, which provides food to 25 food pantries across Aroostook County. Last year, Feed the County served 28,357 people through 10,188 volunteer hours and more than $210,000 worth of donated food.
