Catholic Charities Awards Funds to My Sister’s Keeper
Portland, ME -- Catholic Charities Maine presented a check for $4,500 to members of the Advisory Board for My Sister’s Keeper. The funds come from a grant through the Catholic Campaign for Human Development. My Sister’s Keeper is a prison ministry that uses mentors to help women have a safe and successful transition from jail or prison to home, family and community. My Sister’s Keeper leverages volunteer time and donations to provide significant help to this disadvantaged and underserved population.
